James Naples is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Harvard Medical School/ Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Department, where he is the residency program director. In addition to his role in education of ENT residents, he is the director of mental training and performance for the GME office at Beth Israel. Clinically, he is interested in cochlear implant and skull base surgery. Dr. Naples earned his medical degree from the University of Connecticut School of Medicine and stayed there to complete his residency training in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery. He then completed his fellowship training in neurotology at the Perelman School of Medical at the University of Pennsylvania.
