Kaiwen Chen is a Clinical Research Fellow in Otolaryngology at the Medical University of South Carolina and a medical student at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School. His current work focuses on clinical trials evaluating novel cochlear implantation technologies and surgical outcomes in otologic disease. Prior to medical school, he coordinated multi-institutional transplant infectious disease studies at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, contributing to several high-impact publications. He is passionate about advancing evidence-based care in otolaryngology and improving patient access through research and innovation.
