Margaret Byars is a second-year medical student at Northeast Ohio Medical University. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience from Auburn University. Margaret has been involved in basic, clinical, and translational research in her undergraduate and graduate years. She is actively involved in volunteering locally as well as leadership in multiple student organizations. She serves as a mentor for younger girls interested in medicine as a career, as well as, being a mentor for incoming first year medical students. Margaret is interested in applying for an otolaryngology residency.
