Christina Yver, MD MBA, is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at the University of Pittsburgh, Director of the Division of Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery, and Director of the UPMC Facial Nerve Center. She received her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA. She completed her residency in otolaryngology at the University of Pennsylvania, followed by a fellowship in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery with an emphasis on facial nerve disorders at Massachusetts Eye & Ear at Harvard Medical School in Boston, MA.
Dr. Yver specializes in the spectrum of facial plastic surgery, including rhinoplasty, facelift, blepharoplasty, scar revision, skin cancer reconstruction, and facial trauma. She has a particular clinical interest and expertise in the management of facial paralysis and facial nerve disorders.
Dr. Yver is board-certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology, and is a member of multiple professional organizations including the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery, and the American Academy of Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.
