Brent A. Senior, MD, FACS, FARS is Harold C. Pillsbury, III Distinguished Professor of Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he also serves as Vice Chair of Academic Affairs and Outreach as well as Chief of Rhinology, Allergy, and Endoscopic Skull Base Surgery. Dr. Senior has lectured in nearly 500 national and international otolaryngology courses and authored over 300 articles, chapters, and texts in the field. He has led Otolaryngology humanitarian missions to Vietnam for 25 years, work which led to his receipt of “International Volunteer of the Year” from the American College of Surgeons in 2021. He currently serves as Executive Vice President of the American Rhinologic Society and Secretary General of the International Rhinologic Society.
