Isaac Schmale, MD, Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Rochester Medical Center. I joined the University of Rochester Medical Center in 2020 after completing an Advanced Rhinology and NeuroRhinology fellowship at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston; Houston, TX. As part of the Rhinology and Endoscopic Skull Base team, I have an active role in teaching the next generation of Rhinologic surgeons. I have research interests in resident sinus surgery education and the use of technology including augmented reality and motion tracking to improve resident skill aquisition while also improving our ability to give objective feedback in the operating room. I also have an interest in improving patient shared decision making and patient satisfaction during rhinology care.
