Cameron Wick, MD is an otologist/neurotologist at University Hospitals and an associate professor at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. Dr. Wick specializes in surgery of the ear and lateral skull base, with a special interest in cochlear implants, vestibular schwannomas (acoustic neuromas), endoscopic ear surgery, and the management of chronic ear disease.
Dr. Wick completed his residency training in otolaryngology – head and neck surgery at University Hospitals in Cleveland, followed by a neurotology fellowship at University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas. Prior to joining University Hospitals, Dr. Wick was on staff at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis and served as associate professor.
Dr. Wick's research interests include geriatric cochlear implant outcomes, endoscopic ear surgery, quality of life related to cochlear implants and vestibular schwannomas, and auditory nerve monitoring during vestibular schwannoma surgery. Dr. Wick is on the editorial board of Otology & Neurotology, the medical board of the Acoustic Neuroma Association (ANA), and faculty for the Institute for Cochlear Implant Training (ICIT). For AAO-HNS, he is past chair of the geriatric committee and has served on the Otology and Neurotology Education committee and the Implantable Devices committee. In October 2025, he will serve as chair for the Content Curation work group.
