Dr. Yen Hsieh is a double board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon and otolaryngologist, currently serving as Assistant Professor at the University of Southern California and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. His clinical and research interests include facial plastic surgery, craniofacial reconstruction, facial paralysis, and cleft lip and palate repair, with a focus on integrating advanced technologies such as 3D printing and computer-aided surgical planning. Dr. Hsieh has contributed to the fields of facial trauma, cleft care, and facial nerve disorders through peer-reviewed publications and book chapters. He is actively involved in global surgery, having participated in and helped lead international surgical missions in countries such as the Philippines, Belize, China, Uganda, Honduras, and Mexico, performing facial reconstructive surgeries and cleft and craniofacial surgeries. In addition to his clinical and academic work, Dr. Hsieh serves as an editorial board member and peer reviewer for several journals and is committed to mentoring medical students and residents. Through his work, he aims to advance patient care, research, and education in facial plastic surgery and global health.
