Orlando ENT and Allergy
Cecelia Damask, DO is a comprehensive otolaryngologist, with a specialty focus on Allergy and Sinus Diseases, and Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology at the University of Central Florida College of Medicine. She is a native of Chicago and received her undergraduate degree from Northwestern University. She received her D.O. from Midwestern University and completed her residency training at the Ohio University College of Osteopathic Medicine.
Dr. Damask serves as Coordinator of the Annual Meeting for the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery Foundation (AAO-HNSF). She is also the immediate past-chair of both the Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology Committee and the Audit Committee for the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery (AAO-HNS).
She has presented on various allergy topics at the Annual Meeting for the AAO-HNSF as well as the Annual Scientific Meeting, Summer Sinus Symposium, and RhinoWorld for the American Rhinologic Society (ARS). She also presented over 100 lectures at various allergy courses, including the AAOA’s Basic Allergy and Immunology Course, the AAOA’s Interactive Allergy & Rhinology Course, the AAOA’s Annual Scientific Meeting and the AAOA’s Advanced Allergy and Immunology Course, where she was the co-course director for many years.
Dr. Damask is one of the editors of “The Handbook of Otolaryngic Allergy” published in 2019 as well as the Chief Editor for “Allergy in Otolaryngology Practice: A Comprehensive Guide”, which is in press. She also served as an editor for the ICAR-Allergic Rhinitis 2023 update. She was a co-chair on the Clinical Practice Guideline: Allergen Immunotherapy. Her clinical private practice has a special focus on treating allergic disorders, including inhalant allergy, food allergy, asthma, atopic dermatitis, eosinophilic esophagitis, and urticaria.
