Dr. Sun Xicai, a male born in March 1980, is a Chief Physician and Dean's Assistant at the Ear, Nose, and Throat Department of Fudan University Affiliated Eye, Ear, Nose, and Throat Hospital. He obtained his doctoral degree in otolaryngology from Fudan University, completed a research visit at the University of Pittsburgh Medical School's Cranial Base Surgery Center, and participated in clinical research training at Harvard Medical School. He serves as the Secretary of the Rhinology Group of the Chinese Medical Association's Otolaryngology Branch and holds multiple other academic positions. Specializing in the diagnostic and therapeutic techniques for diseases of the ear, nose, throat, and cranial base, Dr. Sun has led numerous national and provincial research projects, including those funded by the National Natural Science Foundation of China. He has published over 30 SCI-indexed papers in prestigious international journals such as *Nature Cancer* and authored multiple monographs like *3D Endoscopic Anatomy Atlas of Nasopharyngeal Cancer Surgery*. Dr. Sun has also been granted several invention patents. His significant contributions to the field have earned him multiple accolades, including the 2025 Outstanding Cadre Talent Award from the Shanghai Municipal Committee Organization Department and the 2024 Shanghai Oriental Talent Program.
