Janeth Garcia Swartwood is a fourth-year medical student at UC Davis School of Medicine with a strong interest in otolaryngology. Her clinical and research interests include improving quality of life, reconstruction, and emerging surgical technologies. She is currently involved in research at UC Davis, where she contributed to a case study on cochlear implantation following burn injury-related hearing loss and access to chronic rhinosinusitis care in Hispanic/Latino patients. Janeth has completed multiple clinical rotations in ENT and plans to pursue residency training in the field.
