PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: The field of rhinoplasty continues to evolve with the development of new approaches and the validation of tried and true techniques. Each expert rhinoplasty surgeon will present the three techniques that they cannot live without. This panel discussion will demystify the technical aspects of successful rhinoplasty through a presentation of a broad range of state-of-the-art techniques involving the nasal dorsum, midvault and tip in an in-depth comprehensive case-based format.

OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 1: Describe techniques for managing irregularities and complications of the nasal dorsum in rhinoplasty.

OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 2: Identify the pitfalls of structural grafting of the nasal midvault in rhinoplasty.

OUTCOME OBJECTIVE 3: Apply proven techniques for managing irregularities and complications of the nasal tip in rhinoplasty.

BACKGROUND STATEMENT: Rhinoplasty is a challenging surgery with variable outcomes related to patient selection, technique and expertise. There is a need for education and dissemination of proven methods for achieving consistent results (aesthetics, the nasal valves, patient satisfaction) in rhinoplasty.

Comprehensive Otolaryngology Track Statement : This panel presentation in a case-based format addresses this critical knowledge gap for the student, novice and experienced practitioner. The comprehensive otolaryngologist who is treating other chronic sinonasal issues will benefit from this panel.
