C. Kwang Sung, MD, MS is an Associate Professor of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine in the Division of Laryngology and the Residency Program Director. He completed residency training at Mt. Sinai School of Medicine in New York City and a clinical fellowship in laryngology at Harvard Medical School – Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary. He obtained his MD from the State University of New York – Downstate Medical Center and is a graduate of Harvey Mudd College and the University of Pennsylvania.
In addition to his medical training, Dr. Sung worked extensively as a professional singer and actor in New York for several years. He attended drama academy in New York City and performed in productions off-off Broadway, in regional theaters, and in national and international tours.
