Glenn Rapsinski, MD, PhD, (he/him) is an Assistant Professor at University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in the Department of Pediatrics, Division of Infectious Diseases. He attended Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA for his undergraduate degree and then the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University where he received his MD and a PhD in Microbiology and Immunology. Lastly, he is physician-scientist with interest in ventilator-associated infection and diagnostic stewardship. His research focuses on the host-bacterial interactions leading to long-term Pseudomonas aeruginosa colonization in children requiring tracheostomy tubes.
