Dr. Vaishal Shah is the Center Director of the Sleep Disorders Center at Cleveland Clinic, where he leads a multidisciplinary team dedicated to providing compassionate, innovative, and high-quality care to patients of all ages experiencing sleep-related concerns.
Board-certified in Sleep Medicine, Dr. Shah brings a unique and holistic perspective to sleep care. He earned his medical degree from Smt. N.H.L. Municipal Medical College in Ahmedabad, India, and went on to complete a Master of Public Health (MPH) at Cleveland State University. He then pursued pediatric residency and sleep medicine fellowship training at Cleveland Clinic, joining the staff in 2016.
Dr. Shah has clinical expertise in the full spectrum of sleep disorders across the ages, including insomnia, obstructive sleep apnea (OSA), narcolepsy, restless legs syndrome, and circadian rhythm disorders. He leads specialized programs in hypoglossal nerve stimulation (a therapy for CPAP-intolerant patients with OSA).
