Drew Neeson is an incoming second-year medical student at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia, PA. He is actively involved in many aspects of clinical research throughout the Department of Otolaryngology, with one particular piece of work focusing on optimizing intraoperative parathyroid hormone (ioPTH) monitoring. Improvement of ioPTH blood sample processing is being done in the hopes of imrpoving surgical efficiency and outcomes in parathyroidectomy. His research was previously presented at the 2025 Health Equity and Quality Improvement Summit and is now being presented at the AAO-HNSF 2025 Annual Meeting. Drew has contributed to multiple ENT-related research projects and he hopes to serve as a leader in his institution's ENT interest group. He is passionate about surgical innovation, data-driven quality improvement, and advancing care in the field of otolaryngology. Drew plans to pursue a career as an otolaryngologist following the completion of his medical education at Sidney Kimmel Medical College.
