Ja'Taiveus Jackson, B.S., is a fourth-year medical student at Louisiana State University SOM-Shreveport. Originally from Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he completed his undergraduate degree in biological sciences from Southern University and A&M College in 2021 before beginning medical school in 2022. In addition to his studies, he spends his spare time volunteering with local community efforts provide health maintenance education and resources to Shreveport's underserved communities, including homeless and narcotic abuse shelters. Ja'Taiveus plans to pursue a career in pediatric medicine.
