Marina Aweeda, MD, is a first-year resident in the Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital. Prior to residency, she completed a dedicated research fellowship at Vanderbilt University Medical Center, where she studied the use of 3D scanning and augmented reality to improve communication of surgical margins in head and neck cancer. Her interests include technology-driven solutions to enhance oncologic outcomes and multidisciplinary care in head and neck surgery.
