Michael T. Yim, MD, FACS, FARS is a fellowship trained Rhinologist and the Otolaryngology Program Director at LSU Health Shreveport. He holds the Cherie-Ann O. Nathan Endowed Professorship and is an Associate Professor of both Otolaryngology and Neurosurgery. His clinical practice focuses on nasal and sinus diseases including acute and chronic sinusitis, growths and tumors of the sinuses and skull base, cerebrospinal fluid leaks, endoscopic orbital surgery, and functional rhinoplasty. He has a strong interest in education with a particular interest in simulation. He currently serves on the Simulation Education Committee (SIMEC) as well as the Skull Base Committee through AAOHNS/F. Dr. Yim completed his Otolaryngology residency at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston and then completed fellowship training in Rhinology and Skull Base Surgery at the University of Utah Health.
