Marisa R. Buchakjian, MD, PhD, FACS, is an Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Michigan. She is a surgeon scientist with a clinical focus on head and neck cancer ablation and microvascular reconstruction and a research focus on cellular invasion and identifying targetable invasion modifiers in oral cavity squamous cell carcinoma. She is also the incoming Director of the Head and Neck Surgical Oncology & Microvascular Reconstruction Fellowship at the University of Michigan.
