Seckin Ulualp, MD, MBA is Professor and Vice Chair of Research in the Department of Otolaryngology - Head and Neck Surgery at UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, Texas. Dr. Ulualp completed pediatric otolaryngology fellowship training at Women and Children’s Hospital of Buffalo, State University of New York at Buffalo, New York. He served as the Director of Pediatric Otolaryngology and the Medical Director of Specialty Care Clinic at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston prior to joining UT Southwestern Medical Center. Certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery with a sub-certification in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology, Dr. Ulualp joined the UT Southwestern faculty in 2007. Dr. Ulualp practices all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology with a special emphasis on the care of children with obstructive sleep apnea and dysphagia. Dr. Ulualp’s research interests include obstructive sleep apnea, pediatric airway, voice and swallowing disorders, pediatric safety and quality improvement, and outcomes analysis. Dr. Ulualp is on the Editorial Board of multiple scientific journals and serves as ad hoc reviewer for more than 15 journals. He has over 150 peer-reviewed and invited scholarly articles and book chapters.
