Dr. Christina J. Yang, MD, MSc is Division Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology at NYU Langone and Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at NYU Grossman School of Medicine. She graduated from Northwestern University's Honors Program in Medical Education at the Feinberg School of Medicine in 2008 and completed Otolaryngology residency at Tulane University School of Medicine in 2013 prior to fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center in 2015. She also obtained the Institute for Healthcare Improvement Basic Certificate in Quality and Safety in 2018 and a Masters of Science in Clinical Research Methods from Albert Einstein College of Medicine in 2023. Her clinical interests include complex airway surgery and aerodigestive disorders. Dr. Yang's research focuses on implementing healthcare simulation as a patient safety and quality improvement tool, with a specific interest in improving tracheostomy care and emergency readiness for children and adults.
