Dr. Petersson is currently Professor and Division Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery, and Director of Ambulatory Surgical Clinics at Children’s Hospital of Richmond at Virginia Commonwealth University. Her practice entails all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology – head and neck surgery, including cleft lip and palate, airway reconstruction, head and neck oncology, congenital and vascular malformations, thyroid surgery, otology and cochlear implantation, and pediatric facial plastic reconstructive surgery. She serves on the AAO-HNS Cleft and Craniofacial Committee, as board member-at-large for ASPO, as president-elect of the Virginia Society of Otolaryngology, and as past president of the Pediatric Head and Neck Surgical Society.
