Boston Andersen is a third year medical student, at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center, who attended Brigham Young University where he obtained a bachelor's degree in Cell Biology. His current research interests include laryngotracheal stenosis, GLP-1 agonist use in OSA patients, and the influence of Social Determinants of Health on patient outcomes. Before developing a desire to pursue Otolaryngology, his research experiences included myocyte satellite cell stimulation research and tyrosine kinase inhibitor research for oncology pharmaceutical intervention. In his free time, he enjoys playing sports and being outdoors, playing the piano, and studying Japanese.
