Carly Misztal, MD, is a fourth year otolaryngology resident at the University of Miami and Jackson Memorial Hospital. Her research interests include assessing outcomes after cochlear implantation, exploring the effects of laminin on spiral ganglia migration, evaluating clinical outcomes after transoral robotic surgery, and investigating how hypoxia shifts vestibular schwannoma cell metabolism and alters the tumor microenvironment.
