Freeman Health System Department of Otolaryngology
Dr. Randall Hansen, DO, MBA, is a PGY‑4 Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery resident at Freeman Health System associated with KCU -GME Consortium. He is expected to graduate in June 2027.
Dr. Hansen is the Co-Founder of The McIntire Research Group in Joplin, Missouri (established July 2022), a collaborative research initiative with Kansas City University focused on advancing otolaryngology scholarship through clinical and translational projects.
Clinically, Dr. Hansen is committed to comprehensive ENT, with multiple areas of focused interests including sleep medicine, endocrine surgery, and sinus surgery. His academic mission centers on advancing the field of otolaryngology through meaningful research, surgical innovation, and improved patient outcomes.
As Chief Resident, he has taken a proactive role in clinical teaching and mentorship, guiding residents and medical students in clinical rotations and research project formulation.
Holding both a Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), Dr. Hansen hopes to integrate clinical excellence with leadership in healthcare systems and innovation. He aspires to a career that blends clinical practice, academic scholarship, and continuous mentorship to shape the future of otolaryngology.
