Abby R. Nolder, MD is Associate Professor and Vice Chief of Pediatric Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and Arkansas Children's Hospital. Dr. Nolder received her Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She then attended medical school at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences in Little Rock where she was elected a member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. After graduating with a Doctor of Medicine, she went on to complete a residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at UAMS where she developed her love for pediatric otolaryngology. She completed a one-year fellowship in Pediatric Otolaryngology at Kansas University and Children's Mercy Hospitals and Clinics in Kansas City, Missouri. Dr. Nolder has double board certification in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology (2012 and 2021). She joined the UAMS Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck as faculty in 2012 and is now Associate Professor with tenure. Her surgical practice encompasses the breadth of complex pediatric otolaryngology-head and neck surgery with emphasis on pediatric airway and swallowing disorders.
