Austin Rue, BA, is a third year medical student at Baylor College of Medicine. He graduated from Austin College in 2023 with Honors in Biochemistry. Since beginning medical school, Austin has engaged in the BCM Student Senate as a Learning Community Leader, served on the Honor Council, and organized service opportunities for his fellow students. He has participated in many fields of study through his research, including airway management, cochlear implantation, tonsillectomies, cleft pallate repair, transplant surgery, medical education, and biomaterial design. Austin plans to pursue a career in otolaryngology, and he is excited to continue his research in this field.
