My name is Lauren Gastineau and I am a first-year medical student at The Ohio State University College of Medicine. I completed my undergraduate education at The Ohio State University and graduated in 2024 with a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering. Since then, I worked as a Clinical Research Assistant in Dr. Kai Zhao's lab at Ohio State and have continued research in this lab during medical school. My research interests include but are not limited to Empty Nose Syndrome, Long COVID-19, and smell loss.
