Jonathan Grischkan, MD, MS is a member of the Department of Otolaryngology at Nationwide Children’s Hospital and is an Professor of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at at the Ohio State University College of Medicine.
Dr. Grischkan received his medical degree and concurrent Masters degree in Applied Anatomy from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine, Cleveland, Ohio, in 2005. He went on to complete his residency in Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery at The Ohio State University Medical Center in Columbus, OH. Dr. Grischkan spent an additional year of fellowship training in Pediatric Otolaryngology and Facial Plastic Surgery at the Children’s Hospitals and Clinic of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
He is board certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and subspecialty certified in Complex Pediatric Otolaryngology.
Dr. Grischkan’s research interests primarily focus on problems relating to cleft lip and palate, vascular lesions, craniofacial disorders, mandibular hypoplasia, airway obstruction, sleep apnea and all aspects of pediatric otolaryngology and facial reconstructive surgery.
In addition, his clinical interests include pediatric sinus surgery, airway obstruction, head and neck tumors, salivary gland disorders, and general pediatric otolaryngology. He practices at Nationwide Children's Hospital where he is part of the Department of Pediatric Otolaryngology. His responsibilities include training fellows, residents, medical students, and other health professionals.
