His work spans both clinical and public health domains, with a focus on pediatric otolaryngology and otology. His research has explored topics ranging from mandibular distraction osteogenesis to noise-induced hearing loss in live-music venues. He currently serves as Director of Interpreter Services at Vanderbilt’s student-run free clinic.
Chris will be taking a year out to conduct research language development in pediatric patients with congenital heart defects at Hospital Sant Joan de Déu in Barcelona as part of the Vanderbilt Medical Scholars Program. He looks forward to applying for the otolaryngology residency cycle upon his return.
