Emma Mazurek is a fourth-year medical student at Indiana University School of Medicine in her hometown of Indianapolis, IN. She graduated cum laude from the University of Notre Dame in 2021, after which she spent a year conducting basic science research on therapeutics in Neurofibromatosis Type I and II at the Herman B. Wells Center for Pediatric Research. This research ignited her interest in otolaryngology, and she is applying to Otolaryngology -- Head and Neck Surgery residency in the 2025-26 cycle.
