Garrett Forman is a fourth-year MD/MPH student at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. A lifelong Florida resident, he was raised in Orlando and received his Bachelor’s degree from Florida State University. His current research interests include health disparities, head and neck cancer risk reduction, chemoprevention, and health education. He was the recipient of a 2024 Dean's Research Excellence Award in Medicine (DREAM) to facilitate a funded, full-time research year.
