Ajibola B. Bakare, MD/PhD, is currently completing a preliminary surgery residency at the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences (UAMS) and is a graduate of Tulane University School of Medicine. He is interested in pursuing a career in otolaryngology with a strong interest in integrating clinical practice and research to advance patient care. His research background includes work in mitochondrial biology, sleep medicine, and rhinology, with a focus on understanding disease mechanisms and translating scientific discoveries into meaningful clinical applications. He is particularly passionate about using his dual training to bridge the gap between basic science and surgical innovation in the field of ENT.
