Javier Aguirre Ayala is a third-year medical student at the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine. He has participated in various otolaryngology research projects and was recently awarded the Jesus E. Medina, M.D. Award for Exceptional Poster Presentation by a Medical Student at the 2025 University of Oklahoma College of Medicine Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery Research Day.
