Dr. Ping-Chia Cheng is a head and neck surgeon and certified sonographer at Far Eastern Memorial Hospital in Taiwan. Dr. Cheng published several studies regarding the ultrasound application in head and neck field, covering topics such as salivary gland (Clin Otolaryngol, 2019), thyroid gland (J Med Ultrasound, 2020), neck lymphadenopathy (PLoS ONE, 2021; Open Med, 2023), and oral cancer (Cancer Res Treat, 2022). He is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in ultrasound image analysis, with recent publications focusing on the application of artificial intelligence in the diagnosis of salivary gland tumors (Ultrasound Med Biol, 2025; Diagnostics, 2023). Drawing from his clinical and research experience, Dr. Cheng will share insights into the integration of artificial intelligence in head and neck ultrasound.
