Diagnosis and Treatment of Oral Lesions

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: Oral lesions are frequently encountered by otolaryngologists and other health care providers. While the primary focus is often on ruling out malignancy, many oral lesions are benign or premalignant. Staying current with these common conditions is essential for the practicing otolaryngologist. This high-yield, interactive session will feature ultra-sharp images of the most common oral lesions, equipping participants with the tools to recognize, diagnose, and manage these cases effectively. This session will examine oral lesions arising from various etiologies, including infections, systemic inflammatory diseases, medication-related effects, and neoplastic conditions. Cutting-edge treatment options will also be presented by experts in oral pathology and head and neck surgery. By the end of the session, participants will have the skills to confidently diagnose and treat most oral lesions encountered in clinical practice.
