PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This presentation explores the development and implementation of a novel mobile app designed to enhance patient retention and engagement in allergy immunotherapy. Using gamification, geolocation, and machine learning, the app provides a comprehensive platform that encourages daily interactions, tracks environmental exposures, and incentivizes adherence to therapy. The app has demonstrated significant improvements in retention rates for both subcutaneous and sublingual immunotherapy, increasing from 32% to 58% and 25% to 64%, respectively. Additionally, the app supports patients with real-time forecasts of allergen exposure, personalized symptom tracking, and engaging user incentives. This presentation will provide a practical overview of the app’s development, data-driven insights, and future directions in leveraging technology to improve patient outcomes.
