PROGRAM DESCRIPTION: This expert lecture is crafted to equip Head & Neck Reconstructive Surgeons and Facial Plastic Surgeons with advanced strategies and techniques aimed at enhancing both aesthetic and functional outcomes in complex reconstructive surgeries. Emphasizing the integration of innovative surgical methods with a comprehensive understanding of facial anatomy, the session will delve into the modern interpretation of facial skeletal buttresses and soft tissue support. Participants will learn about the implementation of bone grafting, fat grafting, the nuances of free flap designs, and the incorporation of cutting-edge technologies in facial implants to improve aesthetic and functional results. The significance of this session is underscored by the increasing interest in aesthetic excellence in conjunction with functional restoration, particularly for survivors of cancer and traumatic injuries.
