Medical Student
Northwestern University - Feinberg School of Medicine
Chicago, IL, United States
Meredith Osmulski is a third‑year medical student at Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine whose work blends pediatric otolaryngology with population‑level health analytics. After earning her B.S. in Biology from Indiana University in Bloomington, she contributed to projects on transcription‑factor regulation in type 2 diabetes at IU School of Medicine, neonatal and childhood outcomes of gestational‑diabetes subtypes, and prenatal/postnatal outcomes in Turner syndrome. She now uses large databases to expose inequities in pediatric ENT care; her current study merges SEER data with health‑system metrics to pinpoint surveillance gaps and outcome disparities in children with thyroid cancer. Outside the hospital, Meredith mentors local youth through Camp Wildcat and Chicago Youth Programs. She looks forward to sharing her findings on pediatric thyroid‑cancer care disparities at this conference.
