Laboratory Director; Research Scientist
Indiana University School of Medicine
Indianapolis, IN, United States
As a scientist, I have been conducting research in both academia and industry for over 20 years. My goal is, and always has been, to conduct quality, repeatable, and groundbreaking research in the field I am being called to serve. Previously in my career, I have had the fortune to significantly impact the fields of oncology, diabetes, pain, immunology, and weight loss, among others through my contributions in industry. I spent 12 years working at Eli Lilly, performing groundbreaking research in each of the previously mentioned fields. Since returning to academia this year, I have begun working in the field of otolaryngology. I serve in the role of laboratory director for Dr. Stacey Halum at the IU School of Medicine. In the short time working in this department under Dr. Halum, I have been able to mentor multiple medical students and residents in their path to becoming clinician scientists.
