Jasmine Stewart, OMS-IV, is a fourth-year medical student at the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine at Arkansas State University and a Congressional Fellow for Arkansas’s First District through the Delta Population Health Institute. She is also an NIH NIDCD Diversity Scholar, having received supplement funding to carry out community-based hearing health research in rural Alaska. Jasmine’s work bridges clinical medicine, public health, and policy, with a focus on reducing disparities in hearing care for underserved populations. Through her research with the Center for Hearing Health Access and contributions to the NIH STAR Trial, she is advancing innovative, equity-centered approaches to hearing screening and access in remote communities.
