Dr. Lisa Morris is a double board-certified Assistant Professor in the Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center-New Orleans. She holds dual fellowship training in facial plastic and reconstructive surgery and craniofacial surgery. Dr. Morris's clinical practice focuses on complex congenital facial deformities, including cleft lip and palate and craniosynostosis, in addition to traumatic facial reconstruction, rhinoplasty, and cosmetic facial plastic surgery. She serves as Co-Director of the Our Lady of the Lake Cleft and Craniofacial Team, demonstrating her leadership in multidisciplinary care.
Dr. Morris earned her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her residency at Oregon Health and Science University. Her advanced training includes a fellowship in Craniofacial/Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery from SUNY-Upstate Medical University, followed by a second fellowship in Craniofacial and Pediatric Plastic Surgery at the Craniofacial Foundation of Utah/Primary Children’s Medical Center. She has authored numerous publications and presents nationally and internationally on cleft care and craniofacial surgery. Dr. Morris also contributes to humanitarian efforts, regularly providing surgical care in medically underserved global communities.
