I'm Alaa a third-year medical student with a growing passion for otolaryngology–head and neck surgery. I’m drawn to the field for its intricate anatomy, diverse patient population, and the opportunity to help restore vital functions like breathing, hearing, and communication. What excites me most is the combination of precise surgical technique with deeply human, quality-of-life-centered care.
Eversince I started medical School, I became fascinated by the intersection of sensory systems, voice, and brain function. My early experiences shadowing ENT surgeons and later engaging in research in head and neck oncology confirmed my interest in the specialty. Since starting medical school, I’ve continued to explore the field through clinical electives, surgical rotations, and research focused on patient outcomes and innovation in care.
I’m honored to participate in this conference and look forward to learning from leaders in the field, exchanging ideas, and advocate for patient-centered care.
