Michelle H. Zhang, B.S., is a third-year medical student at Harvard Medical School. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a degree in Neuroscience, Molecular & Cellular Biology, and Psychology, where she developed an early interest in auditory neuroscience and health equity. Her research focuses on cochlear implant access and outcomes, with additional work in global surgery capacity building aimed at addressing disparities in otolaryngology–head and neck surgery worldwide.
