I am Jacob Scott, BS, a third-year medical student at Rush Medical College in Chicago, Illinois. I am interested in the intersection of environmental factors and patient outcomes, with a focus on how pollution and socioeconomic disparities contribute to disease incidence and variation in care. My research explores the impact of environmental exposures on sinonasal malignancies, integrating geospatial analysis with clinical data to identify patterns in tumor distribution and risk. I am particularly interested in rhinology and sleep medicine, quality-of-life driven treatments, and opportunities for meaningful patient impact.
