Board-certified Otolaryngologist and Head and Neck Surgeon Neil Hockstein, MD, has been dedicated to improving clinical outcomes for patients and expanding access to care for patients for over 20 years.
Dr. Hockstein was recently appointed as the Chair of the Delaware Health Commission, which promotes high-quality, cost-effective, and accessible healthcare for all Delaware residents. The Commission works with healthcare providers, policymakers, and community stakeholders to improve health outcomes and address disparities in care.
Dr. Hockstein is a founder and the Chief Medical Officer of Parallel ENT & Allergy. Parallel delivers comprehensive non-clinical practice management services to practices across the country so physicians can focus more on caring for their patients. He is a partner at ENT & Allergy of Delaware, a leader in quality ENT, allergy, and audiology care in the Mid-Atlantic region. He is the Medical Director of Surgical Subspecialty Care for the ChristianaCare Health System in Newark, Delaware. He is also the Director of Head and Neck Multidisciplinary Care for the Helen F. Graham Cancer Center at ChristianaCare. He is Clinical Assistant Professor of Otolaryngology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College, Thomas Jefferson University, and holds an adjunct faculty appointment at the Wistar Institute in Philadelphia, PA.
A Delaware native, Dr. Hockstein has earned Top Doctor recognition for 16 consecutive years from Delaware Today Magazine and seven consecutive years from Philadelphia Magazine. He has also been recognized nationally as a Castle Connolly Top Doctor for the last 10 years and has published over 40 articles in peer-reviewed medical journals and several book chapters.
Dr. Hockstein received his undergraduate degree from Johns Hopkins University and graduated with honors from Jefferson Medical College. He completed his residency at the University of Pennsylvania, where he served as chief resident.
