Joyce Hyojin Lee, BA, is a third-year medical student at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She earned her undergraduate degree in Chemistry from Princeton University. Prior to medical school, she spent one year at TruDataRx, a startup focused on comparative efficacy research in prescription drugs, where she specialized in Python and R programming and clinical data analysis. She also worked for two years in a translational biology lab at Dana-Farber Cancer Institute, conducting research in brain cancer metabolism and radiation oncology. Her background reflects her strong interest in both computational and bench research with a specific interest in the development of new surgical techniques in head and neck cancer.
