Brian W. Downs, MD, FACS is Associate Professor of Otolaryngology at Wake Forest University School of Medicine. He completed medical school and residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of North Carolina. He completed his fellowship in Facial Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) in Portland, Oregon. After practicing on the faculty at OHSU for almost three years, Dr. Downs, a native of North Carolina, established Evergreen ENT & Facial Plastic Surgery in Morganton, NC. He then pivoted and re-entered academic medicine, joining the Wake Forest faculty in 2012.
In his free time, Dr. Downs enjoys ultramarathons.
