Dr. Fischer graduated with an undergraduate degree in Biology from the United States Air Force Academy, recognized as a distinguished graduate. He completed medical school training at the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences. Dr. Fischer then completed five years of specialized surgical training in Otolaryngology at the National Capital Consortium in Bethesda, Maryland. He then completed felloswhip training in Rhinology and Skull Base surgery at the Universtiy of California, Los Angeles in 2025. He currently works at Brooke Army Medical Center in San Antonio Texas and serves in the United States Air Force with a current rank of Major.
